National Film Festival 2012 in Davao City

The Film Development Center of the Philippines (FDCP) selected Davao City to stage the Sineng Pambansa National Film Festival. As with FDCP press release they choose Davao because of it's leading role in political, economic and cultural history of Mindanao. And with it's wealth of local talent, it is also an important regional base for the emerging independent film community in the Philippines. This is to support the local filmmakers.

The National Film Festival will be on June 29, 2012 until July 03, 2012. It will be screened at the following cinemas in the participating malls: Abreeza Mall, SM City Davao, Gaisano Mall Davao, and NCCC Mall. The ticket is only P50.00.
