RIZAL 150: #19 Fort San Pedro, Pier Area, Cebu City

 I got my first Lakbay Rizal 150 stamp at Fort San Pedro in Cebu City the night before the 150th birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal.

It was on August 2, 1896 when the S.S. Espana docked in Cebu for a routine one-day stop over. After breakfast on board, Commander Carcinero took Rizal under custody to the Spanish Military Commander of Cebu, Gen. Adulfo Montero in the Military Headquarters located in Fort San Pedro.
