THE 32nd MANILA INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR 2011

Late this morning I saw a post at my aunt's wall with a link titled "A Haven for Book Lovers" with my name telling me to go there .. :) .. It's The 32nd Manila International Book Fair .. and it started since September 14 and will last tomorrow September 18, 2011 .. They opened at 10 in the morning and closes at 8 in the evening .. Good thing I only worked until 12 noon for Saturday, so right after work I went straight to SMX Convention Center at Mall of Asia, Pasay City .. I took the LRT and alight to Taft Station then transferred to a jeepney for SM MOA .. When I get there I went to the registration area to buy a ticket and it cost 20 Pesos but for students and senior citizens the ticket costs 15 Pesos .. 
 .. books .. books .. books .. it thrilled me when I get in .. the place was filled with booths of different exhibitors .. 

 .. books in a discounted prices .. Price starts at P5.00 .. and discounts from 5% - 90% ..



 .. in the activity area there's an on going story telling ..
 .. and the food area ..
 .. some other exhibitors like DIWA has some interaction activities ..
.. some University also participated like Ateneo de Manila University Press , University of Santo Tomas Publishing House and University of the Philippines Press ..
 .. lucky enough I even meet some authors ..

.. besides from the authors there are also mascots all around .. even doraemon .. :)

 .. I got 5 books from OMF Literature in a discounted price .. like the "walking from east to west" from P250 to P75 .. set of Gifts of Grace for only P175 .. and a Charles Swindoll book from P195 to P156 .. :)
 .. my set of Gifts of Grace was even signed by the author Grace Chong .. :)
 .. there are also some freebies .. like free taste of some delicacies .. and i've got a free copy of Readers Digest ..

  1. Wow, definitely a nice post. I would want to visit the book fair but I have a lot of things to do in school.. I envy the people here. They're havin' a blast... >_<

  3. @LORVELIN for sure there'll be a next one .. it took me a lot of time in the book fair and want a lot of books but i can't :( .. i still got some list of to read books ..
